Photos have an amazing power to move us, we are a very visual species and our eyes are wired almost directly into our brains. Thanks to my work I have had a chance to witness may natural wonders, from amazing sunsets over the frozen Antarctic Ocean to aerial views of the dramatic NaPali coast of Kauai, from a couple of million Laysan albatross nesting on a remote sandy atoll to giant grizzly bears chasing salmon in an Alaskan river. For the most part I have tried to keep people and their effect on nature out of my photos, but this was proving to be an almost impossible task. As I shared moments in the field with close friends, saw the faces of joy as some of them started their families and welcomed new life into this world, as I met new and amazing people, artists, etc. I felt more and more compelled to pick up my camera and make a visual record of those event. Over the last few years my portrait work has taken up a greater part of my time and I felt that I was time to give it its own space.
This website and my small studio in San Francisco are the product of that work.

Bio:
I was Born in Malaga, Spain, in 1969, and grew up by the sea, hiking, sailing and reading. As a kid my favorite book was a dog-eared atlas, on it I would plan trips to remote and exotic locations.
Photography has been an integral part of my life since I was 14 and started doing my own b&w processing. Currently I am the President of the Photochrome Camera Club of San Francisco, a member of NANPA and AEFONA and I market my work privately as well as through various image banks and photo libraries (see the 'contact' page for details). My images are published regularly in books, magazines, websites and calendars.
For the last 9 years I have had the privilege to make those childhood dreams come true and I travel round the work for my work as a photographer. I currently live and work in San Francisco.
